About us

You'll join our Sales Team and work directly with Błażej (Growth Lead, who also runs all things marketing) and - on larger strategic deals - with Karol, our CEO. When preparing proposals, you'll work closely with our Service Delivery team. A Senior BDR is currently in the recruitment process and will be joining around the same time as you.

Salary:

  • 11000 - 14000 PLN net/month B2B

  • 9500 - 12500 gross/month employee contract

What's the situation

Two things are happening at Appunite at the same time.

The first is our core business: we place senior Elixir developers with SaaS companies, marketplaces, and e-commerce platforms that need to scale their engineering teams fast. We're good at it. Clients can vouch for that. But the pool of warm prospects we've been working is nearing exhaustion - inbound alone won't carry us.

The second is a strategic bet we're making on a new offering: process-native software. A growing number of companies are realizing that off-the-shelf SaaS tools weren't built for how they actually work. We build the alternative. This is an early-stage market - conversations require education, patience, and a willingness to act without a ready-made playbook.

You'll work across both.

Job requirements

What you'll be doing

Your primary territory is the pipeline - from the first conversation to a signed contract. Concretely:

  • Leading discovery calls for both streams (Elixir team augmentation + process-native software) - listening, asking, mapping the problem before proposing anything.

  • Preparing proposals in collaboration with Service Delivery - not sticking rigidly to the existing portfolio, but thinking through whether and how we can address each specific need.

  • Negotiating contracts - this is your responsibility from day one. Karol joins on larger or more strategic deals.

  • Researching companies and contacts for prospecting - building target lists, identifying decision-makers (CEO, CTO, COO), using tools like Clay and LinkedIn. This takes the load off the Senior BDR so you can both operate at full speed.

  • Handling inbound Elixir leads and maintaining warm relationships with the existing prospect pool, which is gradually shrinking.

  • Being open to outreach - LinkedIn, email, phone. You don't need deep experience here, but it shouldn't put you off.

  • Keeping CRM clean and pipeline reporting accurate - this is how we know what's working and what isn't.

  • Feeding insights back to marketing - which hooks land, which objections keep coming up, where prospects are in their buying process. This loop is something we want to actually run well.


You'll be a good fit if you

  • Have 4+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in IT services or consulting

  • Can run a consultative discovery conversation without defaulting to a features pitch - you ask before you present

  • Can co-design a proposal with a technical team, not just read from a price list

  • Are comfortable operating without a ready playbook - uncertainty triggers your curiosity, not paralysis

  • See research and prospecting as part of the job, not an annoying extra - you know how to find the right people and companies

  • Speak Polish & English at C1 level - many of our clients are international

We don't currently have a recruitment task in the process, though we reserve the right to add one if the conversation calls for it.

One thing worth saying plainly: we don't expect you to know Elixir. We do expect you to get curious about it. And we're not looking for someone who needs a finished process to operate — we're looking for someone who can help build one with us.
